For Home makes local deliveries in some areas of the California state by our contracting delivery company. The rate depends on a distance and quantity of items in the order. You can enter your zip code on any product page to check if we deliver to your area.

Delivery Timeframe

It usually takes 5-10 business days for delivery. Some deliveries may be delayed due to COVID-19, but we are trying to deliver your order as soon as possible. If you place the order for several items and some of them are out of stock and the others are available with the manufacturer, the order will be delivered once the whole order is ready for delivery otherwise there will be a separate shipping charge for each delivery.

Our Customer Support team or the contracting delivery company dispatcher will contact you to schedule the delivery date and time frame (usually 4 hours window). Please make sure to be available during the whole time frame, since the delivery team will not be able to wait due to a schedule.

We strongly advise our Customers to be available to accept the delivery at the time frame agreed with the delivery company. If a Customer misses the delivery appointment for any reason, he/she will be responsible for all costs associated with a repeated delivery and storage fee. If a Customer authorises someone else to accept the delivery on his/her behalf (it must be an adult over 13 years old), the Customer is still responsible for the delivery as if accepted himself/herself. If a Customer requests the delivery company to leave the order without a signature, he/she releases For Home from all responsibility for such a shipment.

Quality Check

Please make sure to inspect the products upon delivery or pickup from our warehouse before signing the paperwork. The signed paperwork means that no damage was found, the Customer accepts the delivery, has no complaints about the quality of the product and releases For Home from any liability in regards to such damage including but not limited to return, exchange or refund. If any damage is found, please make notes on the delivery paperwork and contact our Customer Support team for further instructions while the delivery driver is still at your place.

Delivery Conditions

Delivery teams are not allowed to move any furniture other than the one they are delivering. Also the delivery team is forbidden to set up any electrical equipment or make holes in the wall to hang a mirror or lamp. In case the item is oversized, For Home can request additional delivery information from the Customer along with the pictures of doors, stairs or corridors before delivery. If the Customer refuses to provide such information or if our contracting delivery company confirms the item will not go through, For Home reserves the right to deny processing of such an order.

Neither For Home nor our contracting delivery company is liable or responsible for inability or failure to deliver the large items for any reason including but not limited to a risk of injury, risk of damage to property or item due to insufficient height or width of the door, narrow width of the stairwell or corridor, etc. A decision on whether the delivery can be provided or not is made by the delivery driver on site. If the Customer decides to refuse the delivery or return items that cannot be delivered to the designated place, the Customer will be responsible for the costs associated with such a return (see Returns)

IMPORTANT: According to “Safer at Home” emergency order should the delivery technicians assume any symptoms of COVID-19 at Customer’s location, they have the Right to Stop proceeding the service at the Customer’s home or location. We will not bill you the service that is cancelled either by driver or the Customer. The Customer must be present at the location during the delivery. The driver will take photos of the Customer with merchandise as proof of delivery without physical closer distance.
