Cancellation & Return Policy

Order Changes & Cancellation

The orders are processed within 24 hours after they are placed on the website and paid in full. Thus the Customer has 24 hours (from the time of the order) limitation to change or cancel the order. If cancelled or changed later than 24 hours from the time of a purchase, For Home can charge 25% restocking fee and return shipping cost for the product to be returned back to the manufacturer. Once the order is ready for delivery, it cannot be cancelled.

Special order

Special orders cannot be cancelled or returned after 24 hours of placing it. We mark special order items on the product page. Please carefully read the description of the product you’d like to purchase, to know if it’s a special order item. We also inform our Customers via email if there is a special order item in the purchase.

Returns

If a Customer decides to return the order for any reason, it has to be done within 30 days after delivery. The product must be in a new condition, not used / installed / modified, in original packaging with the original product tags. If any of these criteria is not met, the return will not be accepted. For Home is not responsible for any homemade damages of the product or injuries caused by the use of any item you purchased from us.

For Home charges 25% restocking fee along with return shipping cost for all the returns unless the product has a manufacturer defect.

Non-returnable items:

1. Items without original packaging and tags

2. Assembled, used or modified items

3. Items that are not in new condition, with signs of wear and tear resulting from their use

4. Special orders

5. Clearance items

6. Bulk orders (if quantity of one and the same product is more than one)

7. Any item marked as Non-Returnable on the product page

8. Any item not purchased from For Home

9. Any returns after expiration of 30 days from the delivery date

10. All mattresses due to the personal nature of their use

11. Standard sized box springs (returns based on their size are not accepted)

Damages

It is the Customer's responsibility to inspect the boxes and check the quality of the product at the time of delivery or self pickup from the warehouse. If the product arrived damaged, please make sure to put a note on the delivery/pickup paperwork. If there is no information marked on such paperwork, the damage will be considered as homemade and the product will no longer qualify for a free replacement. For Home is not responsible for any homemade damages. Also please contact For Home via email and provide your order number, pictures or video of the damage and a short description.

All defective products that are returned to us must be packed in original boxes with original packing material. Once we receive such an email, we will contact the manufacturer and request a replacement of the damaged item.

IMPORTANT: There are some vintage items on our website with the dents and scratches made for their unique look. Such items are not considered as damaged.

All the product descriptions and pictures are received from the manufacturer and we have no control over any discrepancies in this information. In addition the color may look different in real life because of your screen settings. Although you can contact our Customer Support team, so they can call the manufacturer and double check this information before you place the order.

IMPORTANT: All new orders from Customers, who have an open claim with For Home, will be processed only after the claim is resolved in correspondence to all the terms and conditions set in our return policies.
